Marine Corps Community Services’ lifelong learning program held a graduation ceremony for service members and Department of Defense civilians at the Lyceum aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, May 27.

The ceremony honored graduates receiving their higher learning degrees from various schools both on campus and at distance learning centers during the 2012-2013 school year.

MCCS holds graduation ceremonies annually at the Lyceum, with this year being its 4th ceremony celebrated.

Tuition assistance was temporary suspended during the beginning of this year, which did not affect students already enrolled. In April, tuition assistance returned covering Marines for up to $250 per semester hour and $4,500 per fiscal year.

For more information about college, tuition assistance or enrollment contact the Air Station’s education office at 228-7484.
