MARINE CORPS AIR STATION BEAUFORT, S.C. --
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units are scheduled to conduct a 3-day training exercise aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort March 28-30.
The unit is scheduled to conduct day and night explosive training from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The explosive charges used may be heard off base, after normal business hours for the duration of the training evolution.
The event will be conducted to train and prepare MCAS Beaufort’s EOD personnel to an elevated standard in their ability to neutralize Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and support intelligence operations.
