Cpl. Jamie Brooks closes out his youth t-ball practice with a team huddle aboard Laurel Bay, May 14. Brooks has been coaching youth sports teams for the past two years. “I grew up playing sports and I think it’s important to give back,” said Brooks. “I want the kids I teach to feel successful at their sports and to see measurable improvement. I also know that I am teaching them things that I learned while playing sports as a kid; things like team work and self-discipline.” Brooks is an administrative specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron.
