First Lady's reading list launched

The First Lady of the Marine Corps, Bonnie Amos, wife of Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James Amos, has launched a reading list titled “The First Lady of the Marine Corps Recommended Reading List.” The reading list is intended to provide military spouses and children recommended reading material that have all been considered credible sources for helpful advice. Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Air Station Library on Nov. 8, to dedicate an area of the library to the recommended reading list. The ceremony is slated to begin at 9 a.m. For more information contact the Marine Corps Family Team Building Office at 228-6141.
