The Substance Abuse Counseling Center Beaufort earned its second accreditation in the top three percent by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities Nov. 18. SACC treated more than 200 cases this year dealing with substance abuse. Nov. 10 marks the 240th year the Marine Corps has been in existence and Marines will celebrate with birthday balls all over the world. The bike route was more than 100 miles and passed through Port Royal, Okatie, and Yemassee before returning to the VFW. The ride was intended to gain support for the local military community. Hora is the state quartermaster for the Veterans of Foreign Wars in South Carolina.
