Bay, Dec. 17. The program was founded in 1983, and is now taught in more than 50 countries around the world,
according to the D.A.R.E. program website. The goal of the program is the educate students on the danger of substance
abuse.

Emergency Services visited Laurel Bay Schools. Later that day, they taught teachers how to utilize a trauma medical

The tourniquet is part of the Jacob Kit, a small trauma kit created by the Burton Fire District and named after a student who was wounded during a school shooting but died three days later due to blood loss.

Jones began fighting when he was eight years old. “I grew up in the streets of south Dallas, the hood basically. Everyone started fighting at a young age, whether it be to defend themselves or to earn their stripes.” Jones is an administrative specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron.
