Members of the media are welcome on the base after coordinating with the MCAS Beaufort Communications Strategy and Operations Division (COMMSTRAT) or an authorized tenant command sponsor and completion of the base access procedures.

MCAS Beaufort COMMSTRAT shall be informed for situational awareness when any member of the media requests access to the base (to include media visiting tenant commands).  COMMSTRAT's contact number is (843)-228-7225.  If approved by COMMSTRAT, media that has completed all base access requirements may be authorized unescorted access.
