MGySgt Brian G. Kendrick

Brian G. Kendrick was born in Medina, OH and raised in Waverly VA.  He enlisted in April 1998 and underwent recruit training at Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC.

In October 1998, Lance Corporal Kendrick completed Military Police Training School at Fort McMullen, AL. He was ordered to Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, CA, where he served in a variety of billets.

In April 2002 Corporal Kendrick was transferred to Security Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA where he served as an Accident Investigator.

In October 2003, Sergeant Kendrick received orders to Recruiters School, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA.  Upon completion of Recruiters School, he was assigned to Recruiting Sub Station Richmond South, Recruiting Station Richmond, VA, where he served as a Canvassing Recruiter and as a MEPS Liaison.

In January 2007 Staff Sergeant Kendrick was transferred to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, where he served as a Watch Commander and Accident Investigations Chief.

In February 2010 Staff Sergeant Kendrick was assigned to Security Company, Combat Logistics Regiment – 15, Camp Pendleton, Ca.  He served as the Company Gunnery Sergeant and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (10.1, Camp Leatherneck). Upon returning from Afghanistan, Staff Sergeant Kendrick was assigned to Military Police Company, Combat Logistics Regiment – 17, Camp Pendleton CA, where he served as the Operations Chief.

In September 2011 Gunnery Sergeant Kendrick was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion – 15, Marine Expeditionary Unit – 15, where he served as the Military Police Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in charge.

In July 2013 Gunnery Sergeant Kendrick was assigned to Joint Force Command Brunssum, The Netherlands where he served as the Base Defense and Security Operation Coordinator for the Base Support Group.

In September 2016 Master Sergeant Kendrick was assigned to the 2d Marine Division where he served as the Current Operations Chief and Law Enforcement Integration Chief.

In August 2019 Master Gunnery Sergeant Kendrick was assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan where he served as the Provost Sergeant.

Currently Master Gunnery Sergeant Kendrick is assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC where he is serving as the Provost Sergeant.

Master Gunnery Sergeant Kendrick’s personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with one gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal with three gold stars.
