Sergeant Major Wyble enlisted on June 20, 1993 in Nevada and attended 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, Echo Company, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Upon completion of recruit training PFC Wyble attended the Basic Food Service Specialist School in Camp Johnson N.C. Following completion in training, PFC Wyble was assigned to 3rd FSSG Headquarters & Service Battalion, Okinawa Japan in 1994. After completing his tour of duty there, LCpl Wyble reported to 2nd FSSG, 8th Communications Battalion Headquarters Company, Camp Lejeune N.C. in March 1995. While assigned there LCpl Wyble served as the Garrison and Property NCO for the 6th Marines chow hall. In June 1995 Cpl Wyble received orders to report to MCSSS Camp Johnson for schooling in the Basic Automotive Course. After completing his training Cpl Wyble was reassigned to 8th Communications Battalion Service Company as an automotive mechanic in October 1995.
In March 1997, Sgt Wyble was assigned to the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MWTC), Bridgeport CA where he served as the Tool & Calibrations NCO and Maintenance Shop Chief. During his tour Sgt Wyble received orders to attend the Advanced Automotive Course at MCSSS, Camp Johnson N.C. where he graduated as the distinguished graduate. In May 2000 Sgt Wyble attended the Mountain Summer survival Course in MWTC in which he graduated as the distinguished student. In January 2001, SSgt Wyble received orders to report to 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Battalion 6th Marines as the Motor Transport Chief. In February 2002 while serving with 2nd Battalion 6th Marines, SSgt Wyble deployed with the 22nd MEU during Operation Enduring Freedom. In February 2003 SSgt Wyble deployed to Kuwait for Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as the Battalion Motor Transport Chief and Battalion Logistics Chief. Upon completion of his units operations in Iraq, SSgt Wyble re-deployed with 2nd Battalion 6th Marines as the part of the Unit Deployment Program in August 2003. In July 2004, SSgt Wyble reported to the Recruit Training Regiment, Parris Island S.C. for Drill Instructor School. After completion of Drill Instructor school SSgt Wyble was assigned as a Drill Instructor with 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Mike Company on October 23, 2004. While assigned to the 3rd Recruit Training Battalion Mike Company, GySgt Wyble served as a Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor, Series Gunnery Sergeant, and the 3rd Bn Operations Chief. Upon completion of the demanding duty as a Drill Instructor GySgt Wyble was assigned to 2nd Battalion 9th Marines as the Motor Transport Chief. In September of 2008, GySgt Wyble deployed again in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as the Battalion Motor Transport Chief. Following his return from OIF GySgt Wyble received orders to report to 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Battalion 6th Marines Company F for duty as a Company First Sergeant.
In June of 2010 1stSgt Wyble deployed with 2nd Bn 6th Mar in support of OEF in Marjeh Afghanistan. Upon returning in April of 2011, 1stSgt Wyble was assigned to Hq Bn, Truck Company for duty as the Co 1stSgt. In January 2012, he was reassigned as the Co 1stSgt of Hq Co, Hq Bn. In February of 2013 1stSgt Wyble received orders to CLR 35 and reported for duty as the Co 1stSgt of ELMACO. Due to force restructuring of Marine Corps units, he was reassigned in June 2013 as the Co 1stSgt of IMC, 3d Maint Bn. In January 2014, he was frocked and assigned as the Squadron SgtMaj of MWCS-18 until he received orders in July 2015 to report for duty as the Squadron SgtMaj with MWSS-171 Iwakuni. In March 2018 he received orders to Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji to serve as the Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji SgtMaj.
SgtMaj Wyble is married to Stephanie J. Wyble. They have been married for twenty-four years and have three children Scott, Brianna, and Jacob. He currently holds an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences Fish and Wildlife Management.
His Personal awards include the Purple Heart Medal, Meritorious Service Medal in lieu of two stars, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal in lieu of three stars with combat distinguishing device, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in lieu of two stars, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal lieu of seven stars, National Defense Medal in lieu of one star, Military Outstanding Service Medal, Drill Instructor Ribbon, Combat Action Ribbon, the NATO ISAF Medal, and various campaign and unit awards.
In July 2020, Sergeant Major Wyble assumed his duties as Station Sergeant Major, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.
