COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DRIVERS

 

Commercial vehicles are defined as vehicles that are larger than a cargo van/pickup truck as depicted below:

 

Commercial vehicles are required to be processed at the Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Lot prior to being granted access to the installation.  When the CVI Lot is closed, commercial vehicles will be processed at the gate.

All vehicle occupants must have an access credential.

  

In the upper right corner, REAL ID compliant credentials display a star

1. Pre-enroll in DBIDS at the following link: ​https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/enroll#!/

2. Print off the DBIDS registration confirmation​

3. Complete and print out SECNAV 5512 form. 

4.Bring your REAL ID, completed SECNAV 5512 form, DBIDS registration confirmation, and the name of your government sponsor to the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Commercial Vehicle Inspection Gate.​

5. Your commercial vehicle and bill of lading will be inspected at the inspection gate.

3. Complete and print out SECNAV 5512 form.

4. Ensure you bring at least two of the following documents:​

  • United States Passport

  • Permanent Resident Card/Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)​

  • Foreign Passport with a temporary (I-551) stamp or temporary (I-551) printed notation on a machine-readable immigrant visa​

  • An employment authorization document that contains a photograph (Form I-766)​

  • Current/Valid Driver’s License (cannot say “Federal Limits Apply” or “Not for Federal use”)

  • Identification card issued by Federal, State or local Government Agencies​

  • U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Legacy Cards​

  • U.S. Coast Guard New Merchant Mariner Credential​​

  • Approved Department of Defense (DoD) Privilege Card Holder​

5. Bring your REAL ID, completed SECNAV 5512 form, DBIDS registration confirmation, and the name of your government sponsor to tthe Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Commercial Vehicle Inspection Gate.​

6. Your commercial vehicle and bill of lading will be inspected at the inspection gate
