MARINE CORPS AIR STATION BEAUFORT, S.C. -- Starting Tuesday, May 26th, civilians will return to their normal work routine and military personnel on Wednesday, May 27th.
Prior to May 26th, our Public Health Emergency Officer (PHEO) and team of medical professionals, along with each Department Head, will be inspecting work spaces that normally contain more than two employees. Mitigation procedures will be identified and implemented to ensure that Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines are maintained and employees remain safe.
CDC recommended guidelines will remain in effect in work spaces and Air Station facilities. Maintaining six feet of social distancing and wearing a mask, when six feet of social distancing is not possible, will be adhered to by Air Station personnel. Return to a normal work routine does not constitute relaxed standards on mitigation efforts that have kept us successful during this pandemic.
