Training pilots make preparations inside T-45 Goshawks as part of the advanced course of the Student Naval Aviator strike pilot training program aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Sept. 15. The T-45 is used by the Navy as an aircraft carrier-capable trainer. It was developed as a jet flight trainer for the Navy and Marine Corps. Indigo Run raised more than 250 for donation to military children in the Beaufort area. Ledyard is a motor vehicle operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron 273, Marine Aircraft Group 31.
