Dwight Hora, left, and Paddy Del participate in a Veterans of Foreign Wars motorcycle ride Sept. 19. The bike route was more than 100 miles and passed through Port Royal, Okatie, and Yemassee before returning to the VFW. The ride was intended to gain support for the local military community. Hora is the state quartermaster for the Veterans of Foreign Wars in South Carolina.
