VEHICLE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

a. Valid Vehicle Registration
b. Valid Vehicle Insurance
c. Service members under 26 years old must provide proof of Driver’s Awareness Training Course
d. Valid Driver’s License
e. Common Access Card / Armed Forces ID
f. Service members, Civil service employees, and housing residents have 30 days to register their vehicle(s) once they onboard and/or purchase a vehicle

WEAPON REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

DO NOT BRING ANY WEAPONS TO THE VISITOR’S CENTER
a. Serial number
b. Make of weapon (e.g., Remington, Sig Sauer, Browning, Glock, etc.)
c. Model of weapon
d. Caliber of weapon
e. Action (e.g., Semi-auto, Bolt, Bow, etc.)
f. Address & usual storage location of weapon within the address
g. WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION ARE NOT ALLOWED IN BARRACKS
h. Weapons must be registered within 10 days of moving into Laurel Bay housing or from date of purchase.

DBIDS ISSUANCE REQUIREMENTS:

a. Contractors who have filled out the SECNAV 5512/1, and have been vetted for access and cleared through the security manager’s office aboard MCAS Beaufort will proceed to the visitor’s center to be issued their DBIDS credential.
b. Pre enrollment is required for issuance at https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/#!/.

e. Two forms of Identification (Driver’s License, Social Security Card, VA ID Card, Passport)
f. Have the QR code with you. This may be printed from the from the pre-enrollment process

VISITOR PASS REQUIREMENTS:

a. Sponsor (or spouse) must be present
b. Common Access Card / Armed Forces ID
c. Valid Driver’s License (or other government-issued photo ID) of all visitors over the age of 18
d. All Visitors over the age of 18 will be vetted prior to pass being issued
e. Visitor’s center will issue 1 pass for 14 days
f. If a pass is needed for longer than the maximum 14 days, the Laurel Bay guest will need to go to the housing office aboard MCAS BEAUFORT to request additional time, preferably before the pass expires. The Visitor’s Center will not issue another pass without authorization from the housing office.
g. Visitors will need to have a Valid Vehicle Registration or Rental Agreement for any rental vehicles.
h. Valid Insurance
i. Visitors with local IDs will only be given a 1-day pass unless specifically authorized prior to arrival

FLIGHT LINE ACCESS / CAC ENCODING:

a. Marine/ Civil Service employees and Contractors must be listed and approved in the SharePoint system in order to have their CAC/DBIDS encoded. Onboarding personnel will request access through their unit S-2. Contractors must request access through Public Works, Building 616.
b. After a request is submitted, requestors will need to wait 24-48 hours for processing before coming to the Visitor’s Center.
c. If an individual requires vehicle gate access to the flight line, the individual must attend the MCAS Beaufort Airfield Ramp Vehicle Operator Indoctrination Course prior to coming to the Visitor’s Center. The course is offered every Thursday at 1300 in Building 1252, Second Deck, phone number 843-228-6380
d. Upon completion of the course, the individual will receive an airfield vehicle license. Service members must take the license to their S-2 to have entered into SharePoint. Contractors will need to take their license to Public Works to have it entered into SharePoint.
e. Bring Common Access Card or DBIDS card to the Visitor’s Center for encoding and airfield vehicle operator’s license (if required) EVERY TIME the card is encoded.

The Visitor’s Center will verify and update contact information and forwarding address information in the Visitor’s Center databases prior to initialing/stamping unit check-out sheets.
